Aymara Limma was born in Rio de Janeiro, known as "The Brazilian Firecracker" because of her incredible energy and passion.
Aymara started her acting career in the ministreis "Capitães da Areia," based on the bestselling novel written by the famous Brazilian author Jorge Amado. The series was directed by the renowned Walter Lima Jr. for TV Bandeirantes Network. Early in her career, she was cast in Warner Brother's "City of Angels" directed by Brad Silberling, starred as Becky Thatcher in the award winner play "The adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain and was the host of "Hollywood Express". She has studied with the famous Milton Katselas and Jeffrey Tambor at The Beverly Hills playhouse.
Aymara's business career took her away from acting. She has grown her publishing company, Editora Five Star, which has released scores of successful titles and shepherded the careers of many authors.
Despite her success in publishing, however, the call to act was too strong and in 2013, she returned to pursue her true passion and made her directorial debut in "Te Amo! Shabbat Shalom" winning an Audience Award on it's first screening at The Cinema at the Edge Independent Film Festival in Santa Monica, California.
Aymara is the great granddaughter of Luis Alves de Lima e Silva, the Duke of Caxias, who was responsible for leading Brazil to victory in the Paraguayan War. She is a former Brazilian sailing champion and has a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Fashion and Marketing.
